This part of A I I M S Hospital is the Ctvsot department, located up on the first floor of what we call the Red Building or the G T V Sot area. It’s part of the Ansari Delhi N.C. Center entrance. Finding it can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to the layout here, as the hospital is spread out across so many buildings. The Red Building is pretty distinctive once you spot it. This floor is dedicated to cardiothoracic and vascular work, so it’s a specialized spot. The hallways are usually filled with people waiting or doctors rushing between units. It’s an old-school medical environment. The walls have that specific shade of paint you only see in big public hospitals. We deal with some pretty intense cases here, so the atmosphere is usually quite focused. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s all about the beds, the equipment, and the patients. The staff works long shifts, and you can usually find someone grabbing a quick tea in the break area at odd hours. It’s a hard-working place. Even though the address sounds complicated with all the building names and entrances, it’s just where we show up every day to do our jobs. It’s a bit crowded and loud sometimes, but that’s just how it is in a major Delhi hospital. We just keep our heads down and focus on the patients on our floor.
