Meenakshi Speech & Hearing Clinics Pvt. Ltd. is located at 3 Jagriti Enclave, right on the Main Road by Vikas Marg Extension. It's a busy spot in East Delhi. The traffic out on Vikas Marg is usually pretty bad, so we always tell people to leave a bit early if they want to make it on time. The clinic itself is straightforward. We have the rooms for hearing tests and a space where we talk to people about their speech. It’s not a very big place, but we make the most of the space we have. You can usually find a few of us sitting near the entrance chatting during a slow period. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly, we just have posters about how the ear works. The floors get a bit dusty from the road outside, so we’re always cleaning. We see kids who are having trouble in school and older folks who can't hear the television anymore. Each person gets our attention, and we do our best to figure out what's going wrong. It’s practical work. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now, and people know they can just walk in and ask a question if they need to. We usually keep the clinic open until the last person gets their hearing aids adjusted correctly, even if it means staying a bit late.
