Madhav Departmental Store

Our little shop, Madhav Departmental Store, is located right at 30B, Block-C in Vinod Nagar West. Delhi is a huge place but this corner of 110092 feels like its own small town sometimes. We have been here for a good bit of time, serving the neighbors who live nearby. It is a standard departmental store, so we stock the stuff people need every day. Bread, milk, snacks, and all that. The shelves are usually full, though sometimes we run out of things when the delivery truck is late. It happens. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. They come in for a quick item and stay to chat for a minute about the weather or the local news. The shop is not very large, so things can get a bit cramped when it is busy in the evenings. We do our best to keep things tidy but with so many small items, it is a constant battle. Vinod Nagar West is a busy area with lots of houses packed together. We like being part of the Block-C community. It is not a fancy supermarket with bright lights and loud music, just a regular shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. We keep the ledger on the counter and try to make sure everything is in order. It is just a simple life running a store in Delhi. We open early and close late.
