M K General Store

We are located in Subhash Market over in Trilokpuri, right near the old Chand Cinema building. That area is always full of life, with people moving around and the sounds of the market all day long. Our shop at 3/161 is a general store, so we try to have a bit of everything that a household might need. From bathroom cleaners and soaps to biscuits and basic stationery for the school kids, it is all packed into our shelves. It gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people come in at once, but that is just how these market shops are. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive decorations. We just put the items where they fit. I spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers nearby while waiting for customers. Trilokpuri can be a loud place, especially in the evenings when the market really gets going, but we are used to it by now. We see a lot of different people every day, some just passing through and others who have lived in these streets for decades. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day and moving heavy crates around, but it is what we do. We don't try to be anything we are not, just a reliable place where you can grab what you need and head home. The shop has been a part of this market for a while, and we just keep going day by day.
