Khurana General Store

You’ll find us at Number 45/1 in the Seva Sadan Block, specifically Gali No. 2 here in Mandawali. Khurana General Store has been a part of this lane for a long time. It’s a small shop, packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We have snacks, soap, grains, and whatever else people might need in a hurry. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything. We still use a lot of paper and memory to keep track of what’s what. The neighborhood is busy, and there’s always someone popping in for a single item they forgot to buy elsewhere. We spend our days chatting with neighbors and restocking the shelves. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to be a supermarket. We’re just a general store for the people on this street. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit late and we run out of bread or milk, but we just wait for the next truck to arrive. We don’t use big marketing words because everyone around here already knows who we are. We’re just here, day in and day out, making sure the basics are available for the families nearby. It’s a modest business, but it’s ours and it’s been in the family for quite a bit.
