Jay Kay Engineering

Jay Kay Engineering is located at 61-A in Laxmi Nagar, in the J & K block. This is a residential-cum-commercial area, so we always have to be a bit careful about how much noise we make during the day. We are a small outfit, and there are only a few of us here most of the time. We handle different kinds of engineering tasks, mostly small-scale work that does not require those massive industrial machines you see in the bigger plants. Our space is a bit tight, so we have to try and stay organized, even if it does not always look that way to an outsider. There are tools hanging on the walls and piles of metal tucked into the corners. We started this shop because we simply liked working with machines. Laxmi Nagar is a very busy place, and there is always some kind of commotion going on outside our door. We do not have a big, bright sign out front, just a small one near the entrance. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us. We do not spend money on advertisements. We would rather spend that money on keeping our machines in good shape. Sometimes we stay late into the evening to finish a job if someone is in a real hurry. It is not a corporate environment at all. We wear our regular clothes and talk like normal people. There is no management here, just us doing our jobs.
