Our office is located at 210 Pkt-E in Phase 2 of Mayur Vihar. Icons Event Initiative Pvt Ltd has been operating from this neighborhood for some time now. We mostly spend our days planning out various types of gatherings and corporate functions. It’s a lot of coordination work. We have to talk to a lot of different people, from sound technicians to flower decorators, to make sure everything is ready. It isn't always glamorous; there is a lot of heavy lifting and late nights involved in this business. We keep our workspace pretty simple so we can focus on the schedules and lists that keep an event moving. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery getting stuck in traffic, and we have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just the nature of events. We aren’t a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller team here, which means we all do a bit of everything. We’ve handled stuff in local halls and some bigger venues too. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around Mayur Vihar. People know where to find us if they need someone to help organize their next big thing. We just try to be honest about what can be done and what can't, keeping things straightforward for everyone involved. It’s about being reliable and showing up when we say we will, which is harder than it sounds.
