Gur-Jas Engineering Works

We’ve been here in Old Govind Pura for a good while now. Our place is on Gali No-5, right at K-3. It’s a busy little spot, always something going on in the street outside. People around here know where to find us. Usually, you’ll hear the machines running before you actually see the door. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just how an engineering workshop is. We mostly deal with local folks and other businesses nearby who need things fixed or made. It’s not a big fancy factory or anything like that. Just a few of us working away on the floor every day. We open up early and stay until the work is done. Sometimes the power goes out in the lane, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That’s just part of life here. We don’t have a big office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with grease on our hands. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, more shops opening up and more traffic in the narrow streets. But we’ve stayed right here in the same spot. It’s where we belong. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though things get messy when we’re busy. We just focus on getting the jobs finished and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. It’s a simple life for us here.
