Event Managers

Our office is located over in Shakarpur, specifically on Vikas Marg at D-92 A 160. It’s a crowded area and finding parking is usually a nightmare, but we’ve lived with it for years. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with folders and some old chairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different venues across the city. Being an event manager sounds like it would be exciting, but mostly it is just a lot of lists and making sure the guy with the tent actually shows up on time. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a glossy website that looks like it cost a fortune. Most people just find us through word of mouth or see the sign when they are stuck in traffic on Vikas Marg. It gets dusty in the office because of all the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. We keep some samples of fabrics and lights in the back room, though it’s a bit of a mess right now. If you come by, you’ll probably see one of us eating lunch at the desk while typing out an invoice. It is a local business and we run it like one. No big corporate rules here, just a group of people trying to make things work for whatever function is coming up next on the calendar. We just do the work and try to keep things moving.
