Adinath Granites Private Limited is over on Bannerghatta Road, tucked into Gopalappa Layout on the 16th Cross. Lakkasandra is a busy area, but our spot is a bit back from the main road noise. We have been here at No. 3 for quite some time. The yard is usually full of slabs and the smell of cut stone. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned rooms all day like some people. This is a hands-on business. Most of the time is spent talking to workers or showing people what we have in stock. It’s a family-run type of thing, even if the name sounds formal. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. You just walk in and find someone to talk to. The layout is a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here, so we often have to give directions over the phone. We’ve built this up bit by bit over several years. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and the sun is hitting the stone. We don't do much advertising. People mostly come to us through word of mouth. We just try to be fair and get the orders out on time. It’s a straightforward way to live. We close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next day. Sometimes it is tiring, but we like it.
