Our little spot is located at 8/80/1 in Bejoygarh, Kolkata. It’s a part of the city that has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. This office handles the local side of things for the telecom work. Usually, you’ll find a few of us here sitting among stacks of files and some old hardware that needs sorting. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps of the local network lines. The area around 700032 is quite residential, so we see the same people walking past our door every day. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. Our space is more practical and a bit cramped if everyone shows up at once. Sometimes the fans don't work quite right and it gets stuffy, but we just open the windows and deal with the street noise. We don't really have a marketing team here or anything like that. We just focus on the technical stuff and the customer issues that come through the door. It’s a lot of routine work, checking connections and updating records. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the day. When the work is done, we lock up and head home like everyone else in the neighborhood. It’s a basic operation but it keeps the lights on and the phones working for the people around here.
