99Events

Our small office is over at SSB Sarani in the Bidhannagar part of Durgapur. We are pretty close to BCET. It’s a decent area, though it gets a bit crowded when the college is in session. 99Events is basically just a few of us who like putting things together. We don't have a big corporate background or anything like that. We just learned by doing. We’ve handled a lot of small gatherings and some bigger ones too. Bidhannagar is a good place to be because we know all the local suppliers. We spend a lot of time driving around Durgapur to check on sites. We don’t use those fancy planning apps; we mostly use a big paper diary to keep track of dates. It works for us. We handle the stuff people usually find boring, like checking the generator or making sure there are enough trash cans. It’s not glamorous work, but it needs to be done. We try to be very clear with people about what things cost. There are no hidden fees or anything weird like that. We’ve lived here a long time, so we care about our reputation in the neighborhood. Sometimes the winter season gets really busy and we’re working until 3 in the morning. It’s tiring but it’s a good kind of tired. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos. We just show people pictures on our phones of what we’ve actually done.
