Soumya'S Academy

This is Soumya'S Academy. We are based at Hindustan Park, right near the Court More area in Asansol. It’s a busy part of town with lots of people moving around all day. We have been teaching students here for a good while now. The rooms aren't huge, but we have enough benches and chairs for everyone to sit. Usually, you can hear the sound of chalk on the board or someone explaining a math problem if you walk past. We don’t have fancy carpets or expensive gadgets. It is just a place for learning. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the summer heat, but the kids don’t seem to mind once they get started on their work. We spend our mornings getting the lessons ready and our evenings are full of classes. It gets a bit crowded during the peak hours when the schools let out. We keep a stack of old textbooks in the corner for anyone who needs to look something up. The stairs leading up to us are a bit steep, so you have to be careful. We know most of the families around Court More by now. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work with the students who come in. It is a lot of talking and writing, but we are used to that routine. We keep the lights on until late most nights.
