Asansol Engg College

If you head down Sen Raleigh Road in Asansol, you’ll find the Engineering College in the Kanyapur area. Specifically, we are in the ECE Department building. This place has a lot of history and you can see it in the walls and the old lab equipment. It’s a busy spot, especially when the semester is in full swing and the students are rushing between classes. We aren't some new, shiny private institute. We are Asansol Engg College, and we’ve been part of this community for years. The labs are filled with the smell of solder and the sound of fans humming. It’s not always perfectly organized—there are always wires tangled on some bench or a pile of textbooks that needs moving—but it’s a place where learning actually happens. The staff in the ECE department have seen many batches of students come and go. We spend our days setting up experiments or fixing the computers in the lab. Sometimes the humidity in West Bengal makes the paper curl, and the old ceiling fans squeak a bit, but we don't mind. It’s a practical environment for engineering. Outside, the trees provide a little shade, but it’s still a hot walk from the main gate. We don't have a fancy marketing team writing this. We are just the people who keep the department running day in and day out. It’s a lot of work, but seeing the students figure things out makes it worth the effort.
