Ventateswar Rao

I'm Ventateswar Rao. I work as a Sr. Manager in Finance. My office is on the ground floor of Ispat Bhawan in Bhilai. Since I'm on the ground floor, I see everyone walking in through the main doors. It’s a very busy spot. Ispat Bhawan is the main hub here for everyone. Being in finance means I deal with a lot of numbers and people throughout the day. It’s a lot of responsibility but I just take it one day at a time. The 490001 area of Bhilai is always active with commuters. The building itself is quite large. I like being on the ground floor because I don't have to wait for the elevators like the people upstairs. My office is functional. It’s filled with ledgers and files and a computer that has seen better days. People stop by quite often with various questions. It can be a bit noisy with all the footsteps in the hallway. I’ve been doing this for many years now. Bhilai is a town where people work hard. I try to do the same. I don't have any big speeches about what I do here. I just manage the finance side of things for my section. It's practical work. When the day ends, I lock up my drawers and head home. The next day is usually more of the same. I’m okay with that. It’s a stable life in a busy building. I know the security guards well. We are all just part of the system here.
