Sagar International,Vijay International Hotels,Durg(C.G)

We run Sagar International and Vijay International Hotels here in Durg. Our main office is at Parihars Villa in New Deepak Nagar. Managing two different hotel spots keeps us pretty busy most days. Durg is a place where a lot of travelers stop over, so we see a wide variety of people. We aren't part of any big international chain. We are just local people who have put a lot of work into these buildings over the years. New Deepak Nagar is a decent area and we like being based there. Running hotels means there is always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a light that won't turn on. We spend our mornings checking on the staff and making sure the laundry is getting done properly. It isn't glamorous work but it is necessary to keep things going. We don't have a PR department to write fancy stories about us. We just rely on the fact that we've been here a long time and people in Durg know who we are. Some days are stressful when both hotels are full and something goes wrong with the water supply. We just handle it as it comes. We want the guests to feel like they are being looked after by real people, not some cold computer system. It’s a lot of responsibility but we’ve gotten used to the pace of it. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
