The office is up on the ninth floor, room 904, in the Mig1 block of Hudco here in Bhilai. It is a solid building, and being up that high means we get a decent breeze sometimes. Chhattisgarh gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so that breeze matters. Most of us at Inductus Consultant P Ltd have been in the Durg district for a long time. We know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic near the steel plant area. The elevators can be a bit slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their floor at once. Inside, it is just desks, computers, and a lot of files. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Someone usually brings in snacks from the market downstairs in the afternoon. It is not a flashy place, just a regular office where we handle the daily tasks. We have a few windows that look out over the residential area. You can see the kids playing after school finishes. It feels like a community here more than a corporate hub. We don't use big words or have long meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be finished by the end of the week and we do it. Sometimes we stay late if a project is dragging on, but mostly we like to get home to our families. It is a simple way to work and we are happy with that.
