Goel Marble

Goel Marble is located right by the Durg Station area, in the middle of the marble market on Dhamdha Road. It’s a loud place with trucks coming and going all the time. Being near the station means there is always something happening. We started this place because we knew the area well. We sell marble and some other stone items for houses and shops. It isn't a glamorous business. You get dusty and your hands get rough. We spend our days talking to contractors and homeowners who are looking for something specific. Most of our customers come from around Jawahar Nagar or further down Dhamdha Road. We keep a variety of blocks and tiles here. Sometimes a shipment is late and we have to wait around, but usually, things move pretty fast. My brother and I run the place mostly. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop and the yard. If someone needs stone, they just walk in. We show them what’s in the yard and they pick what they like. It’s a straight deal. The sun hits the marble in the afternoon and it gets bright. We’ve been in this market for years now. People know us as the place near the station. It’s a good spot to be even if the traffic is a bit much. We just keep things moving and try to stay busy every single day.
