Ajanta Marbles

Ajanta Marbles is tucked away at Plot No- 10 in the Industrial Estate, right near Dhamada Road. Being in an industrial area means we have more space than the shops in the middle of town, which is good because marble takes up a lot of room. It’s a bit of a drive for some people, but most find it worth it to see the full range we keep in stock. I’ve been at this location for a long time and have seen the estate change quite a bit around us. The work here is mostly about logistics—getting the heavy slabs in and out without breaking anything. We have some old machinery for cutting, and it makes a lot of noise throughout the day. I’m usually in the back making sure the edges are straight on the custom orders we get from the local contractors. We don’t have a polished sales team or anyone in a suit. It’s usually just me or my foreman talking to customers about their needs. We tell them what we know about the durability of different stones and what might stain easily. Sometimes we have leftovers from big jobs that we sell for a discount to anyone who needs a small patch fixed. It’s a very practical way to run a business. We don’t use any corporate lingo or make big promises we can't keep. We just show you the stone, tell you the price per square foot, and help you load it into your vehicle.
