Our spot is in Durg, tucked away in the Santra Badi area. If you go behind the old Tarun Talkies, you’ll find us easily enough. We are connected with the B K Birla Group and the Century Cement work out in Baikunth, Raipur, but this is where our local presence is handled. Mr. B. K. Verma’s son looks after things here. Dealing with cement and construction materials is a heavy job, literally. There is always dust around and trucks coming in or out. We spend a lot of time talking to builders and people just trying to fix up their own houses. It is not a shiny office job. Most days involve checking stock, looking at delivery schedules, and making sure the bags are stored where they won't get damp if it rains. The area behind the cinema is usually quite busy, so there is always something going on. We have been part of the Durg landscape for a good while now. People know they can come by and talk to us without any fuss. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We sell cement and we make sure it gets to the site on time. It is a simple business at its heart, even if the logistics can get a bit messy sometimes. Being in Chhattisgarh, we see a lot of growth happening, and we are just glad to be a small part of that.
