Down here in Patan, near the Thane, things move at their own pace for Aadishvar Agro Producer Company Limited. We are located over at Nitin Arun Jadhav’s place. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but being close to the farms makes sense for an agro producer company. We spend a lot of time talking to the local guys about their crops and how the season is looking. The address might look a little complicated on paper, with the Amleshwar Thane reference, but once you’re in the area, most people can point you toward us. We handle a lot of the logistics for the agricultural side of things right from this spot. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a working space where there are usually boots by the door and bags of samples sitting on the tables. Nitin and the rest of the team are usually busy with something or other, whether it’s checking the weather or figuring out transport for the produce. We have our fair share of long days, especially when harvest time rolls around. It’s just the reality of the agro business in this part of the country. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the farmers and the goods they are growing out in the fields around Patan. It’s basic work, but it keeps everyone occupied.
