Maatrikas Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Sikola Basti, right beside Vikki Traders in Durg. It is a busy little area and having the traders next door makes it easy to find us. We are a collective of farmers from around the Durg district. The office is a simple place where we manage our collective farming activities. It gets a bit noisy with all the traffic and the nearby shops, but we like being in the middle of the action. Most of our work happens out on the farms, but this spot in Sikola Basti is where we come to settle the accounts and plan for the next season. We don't have any corporate slogans or polished speeches to give. We just talk about seeds, fertilizers, and who is growing what this year. Sometimes we have a lot of farmers stopping by at once and it gets a bit cramped, but we always make room for everyone. Living and working in Durg means we are used to the heat and the constant hum of the town. We are just regular people trying to make a living from the earth. There is no mystery to what we do; it is just hard work and a bit of luck with the weather. If you walk past Vikki Traders, you will see our place right there. We are always around doing something related to the harvest.
