Our business, Rudra Vidhata Marble And Ceramics, is situated in Khambalpada, over in Dombivli East. We are right on the Kalyan-Dombivli Road, very close to the Shiv Sena office. It is a busy road with a lot of traffic and activity all day long. We carry a variety of marble and ceramic tiles for different kinds of projects. The shop is usually packed with crates and large slabs leaning against the walls. It can feel like a bit of a maze when you walk inside. We spend most of our time helping customers pick out tiles for their bathrooms or marble for their kitchen counters. It involves a lot of back and forth, showing various samples and checking what we have left in the storage area. We are not a big chain store; we are just a local shop where we know many of the people who walk in. The dust from the marble and the ceramics is just something we live with every day. We don't put on any fancy acts for the people who come in. We just tell them what we have available and what the prices are. It is a practical and straightforward business. We have been in Dombivli East for quite some time now and we like being part of the local community. We open up every morning, sweep the floor, and get to work. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied.
