Giyakhali Primary School

Giyakhali Primary School is right at the Hompalaghatta Cross on the Hosur Main Road. Since we are out in Anekal, we get a lot of the heavy traffic that moves along the highway towards the border. It is a very specific spot where the local roads meet the main road, so there are always trucks and buses zooming past. Our school is a primary school, so we mostly see the younger kids from the nearby houses and farms coming in every morning. It is a pretty straightforward place. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. The weather out here can get quite hot in the summer, and since we are near the main road, it gets a bit dusty too. We just spend our days going through the lessons and keeping an eye on the little ones. It is not a complicated operation. We have been part of this community for a while, and people know us by the landmark of the crossroad. Sometimes it is a bit loud with all the highway noise, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We just focus on the basics and make sure everyone is learning what they need to. It is a small, local school doing its thing every day.
