Gokul Tours and Travels is based at Shop 11 in the Jivabhai Super Market. We’re right on Petrol Pump Road here in Diu, so it’s easy for people to find us when they’re out running errands or filling up their tanks. The market is always a bit noisy, but I like the energy of it. I’ve been in this same spot for a long time now. My desk is usually piled high with notebooks and schedules because I still prefer writing things down by hand. It feels more real and reliable that way. We get all sorts of people walking through the door, from locals we’ve known for years to tourists who look a bit lost. I try to give everyone a straight answer about prices and times. There’s no point in making things complicated for people who just want to get home. The shop itself is quite small, with just enough room for a few people to stand and talk. We have an old ceiling fan that clicks a bit, but it keeps us cool during the hot Diu afternoons. My brother works with me, so one of us is almost always here. We don’t do any big advertising or have a polished website. Most people just see our sign when they’re heading to the petrol pump or walking through the market.
