Goa Travels

Goa Travels is located in Gandhi Bhuvan on Fort Road in Diu. We are very close to Bandar Chowk, which is usually buzzing with people and activity from the morning onwards. I’ve been sitting at this desk for more years than I care to count. It’s a small, simple office, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Most of what I do is help people get their travel sorted out, whether they are heading out of Diu or just looking for a local trip around the island. Since this is a small town, you have to be honest with people. If I tell someone a bus is reliable and it breaks down, I’ll definitely hear about it the next day at the market. That’s why I try to be very clear about what to expect with the timings. The salt air from the coast really does a number on the paint, so the office looks a bit older than it actually is. I usually have a small radio playing some old songs to keep me company when things are quiet. My nephew comes in to help when the tourist season kicks in and things get frantic. We don't have any big corporate mission or fancy brochures. It’s just a local place where you can get your tickets and a bit of advice on the best routes. If you’re walking down toward the chowk, you’ll see our door. It’s usually propped open to catch a bit of the breeze.
