Ramana Exports

Ramana Exports is based on North Street in Pillaiyarnatham, which is part of the Nilakkottai T. K. area. It is a small town vibe here, where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. Our building is a simple structure on a residential-looking street, so it doesn't really stand out much. We deal with exports, which sounds like it should be more complicated than it actually is. Mostly, it is just about making sure things are measured correctly and the paperwork matches what is in the boxes. We have a few large tables where we do the packing and a small area in the back for storage. The fans on the ceiling are old and they make a clicking sound that you eventually stop noticing. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. People find us through word of mouth or because they have been dealing with us for a decade. The pace of work depends on the orders we have that week. Sometimes we are working late into the evening by lamplight, and other times we are just sitting around drinking coffee and waiting for a shipment to arrive. North Street is usually pretty calm, except for when the local school lets out. We just keep to ourselves and make sure we get our tasks done. It is an honest living and it keeps us occupied without too much stress.
