About Santosh Agro Bihar – Agriculture & Farming in Dindigul
Down here at 38, Lf Main Road, the days mostly follow the weather. If it looks like rain, the farmers come in early looking for covers or specific supplies they forgot. If it’s dry, it’s a different kind of busy. We deal with a lot of heavy bags and equipment parts, so there’s usually a bit of grease on the counter and the floor. Kamayagoundanpatti isn't the biggest place, but everyone knows where we are. The shop is more of a practical space than anything else. We don’t spend much time decorating because it would just get covered in dust from the road anyway. Sometimes the delivery trucks show up all at once, and the whole front area gets blocked with pallets. It’s a bit of a mess to sort through, but we get it done eventually. I spend a lot of time on the phone checking where our orders are or telling someone their parts arrived. We have some old chairs in the corner where people sit and talk while waiting for their turn. It's not a fast process here; we like to make sure we’re getting the right items out of the back room. My back usually aches by five o'clock from all the lifting, but seeing the familiar faces makes the day go by. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk that’s been here since we opened. It’s just a regular life running a place like this on the main road.
