Charan Farm

Charan Farm is located at number 59 in Kodaikanal, quite close to Theppakulam. It is a bit different from the busy city offices you see elsewhere. Up here, the air is a lot cooler, and things move at a much slower pace than they do down in the plains. Most of our days are spent outdoors or dealing with the things that come with running a farm in this terrain. Being near Theppakulam is a good marker for anyone trying to find us. It can get quite foggy in the mornings, and sometimes you can barely see the trees past the gate. It is a quiet life at number 59. We spend a lot of time looking at the weather and making sure everything is in order. The soil here is good, and the surroundings are mostly green, which makes for a peaceful place to spend the day. We have been here for a while and have seen the seasons change many times. It is hard work, but it is honest. Most people around Kodaikanal know where the Theppakulam area is, so we don't usually have to give too many directions. Life on the farm involves a lot of manual labor and being mindful of the environment. It is just the way we do things here. The mornings start early and the evenings are usually very quiet once the sun goes down. It is a simple existence away from the city noise.
