It is a quiet enough area most of the time, but things pick up when the farming season hits its peak. We have been at this location for a bit now, working out of Khotian No-874/2. Being in Uttar Dinajpur, we see a lot of different crops coming through. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we sit and sort out the farm business. The neighbors are mostly folks we have known for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who come in from the surrounding fields. West Bengal farming is hard work, and we are just one part of that whole system. Some days are slow, while others feel like there aren't enough hours to get everything written down in the books. We use simple tools and keep our records as best as we can. It is a local operation through and through. You won't find any corporate talk here, just talk about the soil, the rain, and what is growing this month. We take things one day at a time.
