Our brick yard is located in Village Aghunibari, right near the Mata Mandir. It is a peaceful spot to work, and having the temple nearby makes it feel like a good place for a business. We have been part of the Bamunbari taluka for many years now. Making bricks is really the only thing we know how to do well. We use the soil from right around here and fire it in the old way that we learned. It is a lot of manual labor, and we are usually covered in red dust by the time the sun finally goes down. We do not have any big signs or fancy marketing plans. People in the village just know we are here when they need us. When someone is building a new wall or a small house, they usually come talk to us first. We spend our days tending to the fires and making sure the bricks are drying properly in the sun. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate, and we just have to wait it out. It is just the way it goes with this kind of outdoor work. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to make solid bricks that will last for a long time. Most of our workers live right here in the village too. It is a real community effort to keep it running.
