Mahadeva Alloys

We've been here in Mugal Majra for a while now. Most days start early because the furnace gets hot pretty fast. It’s hard work dealing with alloys but it's what we know. People around Mandi usually know where to find us. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just the workshop where we get things done. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the machines running all day. My uncle started this place and now a few of us keep it going. We handle different types of metal bits and pieces depending on what's needed. It's not always pretty, but it's honest work, I guess. Usually, someone is always around if you drop by, even if we're covered in dust. We just try to get the orders out on time so nobody is waiting too long. The roads around here can be a bit dusty in the summer, but we like being part of this area. It's just a regular local shop where we put in our hours and go home. Nothing too complicated about it, just melting and shaping stuff day in and day out. If the tea stall next door is open, that’s usually where we take our breaks. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s metal work, plain and simple. We’ve seen many changes in the trade, but the basics of melting and pouring are still the same for us. That's our daily life here in the village.
