Raja Kulkarni

I’m Raja Kulkarni and I run things from my place called Anant Krupa. It’s number 52 in Ashok Nagar, Hubli. My father, R T Kulkarni, started things off, and I’ve just kept it going in our own way. We aren't a big company with a hundred employees. It’s more of a family-run type of thing. The building is just a regular house that we’ve converted part of into a workspace. It’s easy to find if you’re in the Ashok Nagar area. I spend most of my day here. There’s always a lot to do, from sorting out orders to talking to people who stop by. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. I’m writing this myself. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with files everywhere and the phone ringing while I’m trying to eat lunch. But that’s how a real business looks. Hubli is a good place to be; it’s not as crazy as the bigger cities but still keeps you busy. I like that I can work from here and still be part of the community. We don’t make big claims about being the top in the field. We just do the work that comes our way and try to be fair about it.
