Kathare

Kathare is sitting right at Sangam Circle in the Line Bazaar area of Dharwad. If you know where Sangam Talkies is, we are directly opposite that. It is a very old and busy part of Dharwad. There are always people walking around and bikes parked everywhere. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. We have been here for a long time and the shop has a bit of an old feel to it. The walls might need a bit of paint and the floor has seen a lot of footsteps over the years. We don't mind it much because it shows we have been working hard. Being across from the cinema means we get a lot of people coming in after a movie. The circle is a bit of a landmark, so it is easy to tell people where to find us. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who show up every morning to open the doors. We sweep the front, get the chairs ready, and wait for the first customers of the day. It is a local business through and through. We know many of the people who walk by every day by their first names. Dharwad is a place where people appreciate a simple spot like ours. We just keep doing what we do at Sangam Circle.
