You can find us at Plot No. 117 in Ravi Nagar, right on Gokul Road. Pavan Tools is a straightforward kind of place without any nonsense. We sell and deal with tools of all kinds, the sort of things you need if you’re actually going to build something or fix a broken machine yourself. The office and the storage area are all kind of mashed together in one space, so there’s always a lot of metal and wood to look at. We’ve been in Ravi Nagar long enough that the regulars don’t even need to ask where things are on the shelves anymore. It’s a working-class area and we like it that way because people understand the value of a good hammer or a sturdy wrench. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights to attract attention. It’s just shelves full of heavy metal and wooden handles. My clothes usually have a bit of rust or oil on them by the end of the shift, but that’s just part of the day. We talk to a lot of mechanics and builders who come in looking for a specific size of wrench or a replacement part that no one else carries. We don’t try to sell them things they don’t actually need. If we don’t have it in stock, we’ll tell you straight and maybe suggest where you might find it. It’s about being useful to the community around Gokul Road. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the door propped open.
