We are located out by the Dharwad Bye Pass, right on N.H. 4 in Village Narendra. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center but it suits us. Being near the highway means trucks are always rolling by, which makes sense for what we do. Chuckmatic has been around for some time. We focus on machinery parts and general engineering work. The workshop gets pretty loud during the day with the machines running. We’ve got oil on our hands most of the time. It’s not the cleanest job but it’s what we know how to do. My father started things on a much smaller scale and we just kept going from there. The building isn't brand new, it has some character and a few leaks when it rains hard, but it’s home. We have a small crew of mechanics and technicians who live nearby. Most of them have been here for years. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just part of life here in Narendra. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. If you miss the turn-off from the bypass, it takes a while to circle back. We see a lot of travelers passing through, but our main work is for the factories around the district. We stay busy and that is enough for us.
