Archititech

Archititech is run by Thimothy N Gudipati, and our workplace is at 1145/A in Keshwapur, Hubli. We’ve been here in Karnataka for quite a while. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a flashy sign or a fancy lobby. Mostly, it’s just a place filled with pens, rulers, and a few computers for the drafting work. When people come to see us, they usually have a lot of questions about how to start a house or how to fix a building that’s falling apart. We listen and then we start drawing. Hubli is a place where you have to be practical because of the way things are built here. We deal with the local climate and the materials that are actually available nearby. It’s no use planning something fancy if the local stone isn't right for it. We spend our days checking dimensions and making sure the plans follow the basic rules of building. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to scratch a drawing and start over, but that’s part of the process. We aren't looking to win any big awards. We just want to make sure that when someone builds a house using our plans, it stays standing and works for their family. It’s a quiet life of drawing and checking. Sometimes it gets a bit tedious, but seeing a house finally finished makes it feel like the hours were worth it.
