Down at 3 Laxmibai Marg in Badnawar, you’ll find our school. We’ve been here in the Dhar district for quite some time. It is a simple place where the local kids come to study. The building is older, but it holds up well enough for what we need. We spend our days going through the different subjects and making sure the students are keeping up. There isn't any fancy equipment here, just the basics like benches and boards. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. Badnawar is a quiet place mostly, so the school is one of the more active spots during the day. The children bring their lunch boxes and sit together during the break. We don't really do much in the way of marketing or anything like that; people just know we are here. The address is easy to remember if you’re looking for us. We just want the kids to learn their reading and writing and get through their exams. It’s a lot of hard work for them and for us too. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going. It’s just how things are in a small town school. We are just regular people helping the next generation get an education. We've seen many siblings from the same families come through here over the years, which makes it feel like a small community.
