S. L. Traders

S. L. Traders is located right near the main gate of the Shiv Mandir in Sindhri. We are also very close to the inverter battery shop and Bharat Medical, so there is always a lot of movement around our front door. Being near a temple means our daily routine is often set by the sounds of the prayers and the crowds that come through for festivals. Our shop is packed with all kinds of trade goods, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. We don't have any fancy displays or modern lighting. It's just shelves and boxes from the floor to the ceiling. We've been in this part of Sindhri for a long time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around the Mandir. If we don't have something a customer needs, we usually know exactly who down the street does. We don't do any big advertising or have a social media page. Most of our business comes from people walking by on their way to the temple or the medical shop. It’s a lot of manual work, moving sacks of goods and counting inventory under a dim bulb. We try to be helpful and honest with whoever walks in. Sometimes the rains make the street outside a bit of a mess, but we just put some planks down and keep the shop open regardless. It’s just how we do things here.
