You can find our workshop near the Shiv Temple and the Dhanbad Doordarshan Relay Kendra in the T.V. Center area. We are located in Village Spray Bhela, which falls under the Koyla Nagar Post Office. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the city center, which is nice for the kind of work we do making incense sticks. The smell of sandalwood and various flowers usually hangs around the building, so you can often smell us before you see us. We’ve been making agarbattis here for quite some time now. It’s a hands-on process, with people sitting and working with the raw materials to get everything just right. We don't have fancy automated lines; it’s more about the tradition and the way things have been done in the village for years. Sometimes the drying racks take up all the outdoor space if the weather is clear. We keep an eye on the clouds because rain can really mess up our schedule. It’s a local operation, mostly family and folks from around the village helping out. We don't bother with much advertising or fancy packaging unless it's needed. We just focus on the work itself and making sure the sticks are of decent quality. Life moves a bit slower out here, and we like it that way.
