Gokhul

People around the Steel Gate area just know us as Gokhul. We are located right on the Main Road in Saraidhela, which is a very busy part of Dhanbad to be in. The shop is simple and we do not go in for any of that corporate stuff you see in the bigger malls. We just have a small space where we keep a variety of general items that people in Saraidhela need on a daily basis. The morning starts early before the sun gets too hot, and we stay open until the evening rush settles down. You will find us mostly busy with sorting through stock or talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. The shop can get a bit cluttered with new arrivals, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we always get there. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that; we just want to make sure the shelves aren't empty when someone walks through the door. The traffic on the Main Road is always loud, and the dust is a constant battle, but that is just the way it is here. We like being in the middle of everything and serving the folks who live nearby. It is a straightforward life running Gokhul, and we do our best to keep things moving along without making any big fuss about it.
