Adarsh Coaching Centre

Adarsh Coaching Centre is located right by Kendua Pool in the Kusunda area of Dhanbad. It’s a bit of a busy spot, especially with the Durga Mandir being so close by, but we like being in the heart of the community. We’ve been here for a while now, operating out of a small space where we gather every day to help the local kids with their studies. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular structure along the road, but inside we’ve got enough chairs and a decent enough blackboard to get the work done. In the evenings, the area gets quite lively with people going to the temple or just passing through the market nearby. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though sometimes the dust from the road comes in too. Our days are mostly spent explaining math problems or reading through history chapters with groups of students who come from the surrounding colonies. It’s practical work, and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. We just focus on the textbooks they bring from school. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the families and the challenges the students face with their exams. It’s just how things go in this part of Dhanbad. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street lights at the pool click on, and then we lock up and head home ourselves.
