Our workshop, Surya Machine tools (India) Pvt Ltd, is located at Plot No. 136 in Industrial Area No. 2. If you are driving down A.B. Road, we are near Magad. It’s a busy spot with lots of transport moving in and out all day. We deal with machine tools, so there is always the smell of oil and the sound of metal cutting in the background. We aren't a big fancy company with a glass building. It’s mostly just bricks and iron. We’ve been here at this address for a good while, and most of the guys working here live nearby. We spend the day fixing parts or setting up machines for different jobs. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting one tool to work right. It’s frustrating but that's the work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work as it comes in. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We sweep up at the end of the day and start over again tomorrow. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the local industrial community here on A.B. Road. Nothing too special, just machine work. We don't use any scripts or fancy talk, we just talk about the job and get it finished. That is how we have always done things at Plot No. 136.
