Kirloskar Brothers Limited

We are located right opposite the railway station. It is a very easy place to find, though the noise of the trains coming and going is something you have to get used to. Kirloskar Brothers Limited has been at this spot for quite some time now. Being so close to the station means there is a constant stream of people passing by our doors from early morning until late at night. The office itself is quite traditional. We have heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It has a lot of character, though. You can feel the history of the place when you walk through the hallways. We have a lot of regular visitors who drop in, sometimes just to say hello because they are passing through the station. It gets quite dusty with all the traffic outside, so we are always cleaning something. The staff here is like a small family. Most people have been with the company for years and know exactly how everything works. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts. It is more of a collection of rooms where people focus on their specific tasks. The rhythms of our day are often set by the train schedule. When a big train arrives, the whole street outside gets packed for ten minutes, and then it goes quiet again. It is an interesting place to work.
