GARNET TOOLS

We’re out at 2-D in the Industrial Area, right off Ujjain Road. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and workshops, which suits us just fine. We spend our time working with tools, the kind of stuff that needs to hold up under a lot of pressure. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the metal shavings and the smell of cutting oil is pretty much always in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a glass front. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We've got a few machines that have been with us for years, and they still do the job better than some of the newer stuff. Most of our day is spent checking measurements and making sure the edges are sharp and the dimensions are right. We aren't interested in being the biggest name around; we just want to make sure the tools that leave here are solid. Sometimes we run a bit behind when a machine acts up, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s honest work and we like the rhythm of the industrial area. People stop by, have a quick tea, and talk about what they need for their own shops. We just listen and see what we can provide from our inventory or what we can put together for them. It is a no-nonsense environment and we prefer it that way.
