Okhamandal Farmer Producer Companylimited is based out of Arambhada village, which is part of the Okhamandal taluka. If you’re looking for us, we are in the R-218 unit in the Barot Pado area of Aramda. This isn't a place with big corporate offices or anything like that. It is a local village setting where everyone knows everyone else. Our office is just a simple room where we gather to talk about the farming business. It’s close to the coast, so you can sometimes feel the salt in the air when the wind blows the right way. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait to speak with us. The floor is just plain concrete, and we have some old shelves where we keep all the records for the farmers in the collective. It gets pretty hot in the middle of the day, so we usually have the ceiling fans going at full speed. People come by on their bikes or walk over from the nearby houses. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person; we just do the work that needs to be done for the community here. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it doesn't bother us. We are just regular people from Arambhada trying to keep things organized for the local producers.
