Out here in Kalyanpur, specifically in the Gokalpar Bhatvadiya area, we started Dekal Devbhumi Dwarka Spnf Producer Company Limited. The office is at Mohanbhai Manjibhai Chopda’s place, at survey number 243. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we are. We’re mostly just farmers from around Jamnagar and Dwarka trying to manage our natural farming better. Subhash Palekar’s methods are what we look at, and it takes a lot of time to get it right. It’s not like the old chemical ways where you just spray and walk away. This takes patience. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about what’s growing and what’s not. Some of the soil around here is tough, and the water isn't always where you want it to be. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just write down what we do and try to keep the books straight. Mohanbhai’s place is usually busy with people coming in to check on things or share some advice. It’s a local community effort. We want to make sure the land stays good for the kids later on. It’s simple, honest work. Some days the sun is too hot, and some days the rain is too heavy, but we keep at it. Being a producer company just helps us stay organized as a group rather than just working alone. We are just people who live by the seasons and the soil.
