Buddha Central Academy

You can find Buddha Central Academy along Padrauna Road in Kasia. We are right there in the Kushinagar area, which is a place many people visit, but for us, it’s just home. The school is a basic building where we teach kids from the surrounding area. It isn't anything like those big private schools you see in the major cities. We have wooden desks and blackboards, and the hallways get pretty crowded when the bell rings for lunch. We started this place because there was a need for a school right here on this side of town. Now, we have a full house most years. The teachers come in early to get their notes ready before the buses and cycles start arriving. We don't have any flashy advertisements around. Usually, people just hear about us from their neighbors or relatives. The yard is where the kids spend their time when they aren't in the classroom, and it gets quite dusty in the dry months. We just try to keep things running smoothly so the kids can learn what they need to. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the weather gets really hot, but we’re used to it. It’s just a local school doing what schools do in a place like Kasia. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way at this point in our journey.
