Vinod Tomar

I’ve been working out of Katwaria Sarai 109 for a long time. My name is Vinod Tomar and this is where I run my business from. It’s a small space, nothing like those big offices you see in the city. Mostly I handle transport and local deliveries. It's just me and a few guys who help with the loading. The building at 109 is old and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend a lot of time on the street level anyway. Katwaria Sarai is always crowded with students and people looking for a bargain. It makes it hard to park the vehicles sometimes. We don't have any flashy signs or posters. Just a small board so people know they’re at the right place. I’ve lived in this part of town for years, so I know everyone. We don't do much advertising. People just find out about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple life. We start early and sometimes finish very late if a delivery is delayed. I keep all my records in a simple notebook. It’s not perfect, but I know where everything is. Some days are good and some days the traffic is so bad we can't move. We just take it as it comes. If you need something moved or have a question, you can just drop by. I'm usually around Katwaria Sarai 109 most of the day.
