Vijay Road Carriers

Our place, Vijay Road Carriers, is over in Budh Vihar, K 1/36, Phase 1. It’s a residential-style area that has a lot of small businesses mixed in. We’ve been here at this address for several years now. The office is basically just a room with a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything, just the work we do every day. Most of our neighbors are also local families, so we try not to make too much noise late at night, though sometimes it’s unavoidable when a truck has to leave early. We handle a lot of local transport and some longer hauls too. The guys who work here are mostly relatives or people we’ve known forever. We don't really have formal meetings; we just talk over things while we’re working. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a price or to see if we have a vehicle available. It gets busy on Mondays and Fridays especially. The internet isn’t always great here, so we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It’s a bit slow sometimes, but we rarely lose track of a shipment. We don't try to be something we’re not. We’re just a small road carrier trying to keep the business moving in Budh Vihar. It’s a simple operation, really, and we like it that way.
